I've been psychic since I was 7 years old. Throughout my childhood, I had lots of people who spoke to me often, although I sort of used to block it out to those around me. In my 20's, it was very strong. Then I had two children and it disappeared for a while. The stresses of daily life with a toddler and bub honestly took up so much of my mental time as you can imagine. There was no time for meditation, self reflection or relaxation.

Now, it's all coming back to me, stronger than ever. I'm getting messages all of the time from my spirit guide, messages in the clouds and angel numbers are popping up all over the place. I'm dreaming like I used to. It's amazing! I've been keeping a diary of all my experiences and read them daily.

So here's the thing. I can never seem to answer some of my life's questions, I seem to see other people's futures and have even done readings with friends lately. There's just so much in my book, I feel like I want to express it, let love and light in and be open, honest and share my experiences. So, my question is, do I open up to others about this gift I have? So many of my friends know it about me but not everyone. I've had some funny looks in the past!

I even thought about starting up a psychic blog, putting all my daily thoughts and experiences in there but something is holding me back, maybe it isn't time?

Thanks for listening, I just think FEAR is holding me back and it's blooming frustrating me!

Do it! Ask the friends who you've done readings for to write you testimonials. You can use them on your blog or website and once the word is out you'll have your followers

If one of my friends had your abiliity I would like to know. I would also be open to any thoughts they would like to share with me.
I think it is a wonderful gift to have, you're very lucky. Tho, I could imagine it being confusing at times knowing and understanding what to do with the information.

On a side note I've spent a fair bit of money going to psychic's in the hope they could provide an answer re: TTC'ing.

What are you afraid of? If you don't want it fully 'out there' make the blog private or start a thread here with some random thoughts and use that to gauge the reaction.

Ask your guide for help in deciding what to do.

I agree with everyone else, maybe you can start small, mention it to a few friends who don't know and see how you go, go by what you feel comfortable with.

If at first you feel a tad held back why not do an anonymous blog? I'm sure once people read it a while it will give you the confidence to pursue it further. Just a thought if "coming out" gives you the heebie jeebies.

Those who love and know you should respect this whether they believe or not.
Dont hide it away when it is obviously coming through so strongly, just go with what comes.
You have an audience here already we are all waiting lol . On a serious note though I really do hope you continue to use your gift and document your experiences and become stronger with it all.

I have a friend who I believe is gifted.

She sees it as a curse and is afraid of it but I feel its more because she knows that sometimes hearing from loved ones brings up painful memories for the living.

No matter what, if you are gifted like this I feel its a crime not to use it. You are blessed with a very special talent given only to those who truly deserve it. Agreed with an earlier post that you don't have to share it or tell people who are nay sayers. But If you are genuinely gifted then you will find the right people will come to you seeking assistance and its your calling to help them.

I see negative things as hurdles to get past/over, there are lessons in everything. Maybe your lesson currently is to have a little faith in yourself and your gifts and to rise above the others and follow your path.


ETA - on the only for others thing, I think that you will get the messages YOU need when you really need them. Perhaps the more you open up to/for others, the more will come through to you for you. Does that make sense?

Thanks so much everyone. I finally started it. I don't think i'll be writing on it forever and I plan to use 2011 as my year of becoming more and more aware of myself and finally embracing my gift. Reading, reading, reading. I went to see a friend of mine, who is a practicing medium. She's absolutely brilliant and does it every day. I think I may be doing readings in 2012 but it won't be here, we'll be relocating in the middle of the year.

I am excited to discover more about myself, my spirituality and my intuition and connecting with my Higher Self and my Spirit Guide and want to learn how to make more empowered choices, and manifest the future I want. I'm so happy that my medium friend actually confirmed the name of my Spirit Guide without me actually telling her who she was.
