Im lucky as my family were quite aware of my gifts - but i am able to see spirits as if they were real people. Most often i see my spirit guide, but i have seen many others. The only family member i have seen after they've passed on is my great grandmother, and she just smiled at me then left. We were very close, and my parents felt i was too young to be with her as she passed. She was 93 and her body gave out on her... she just came to say good bye.
None else in my family close to me has passed away (touch wood, thanks goodness).
