Mirena is absolutly fantastic!

I have had the Mirena put in a week ago or so, and its brilliant.
2 days of bleeding and cramping like the doc said, and now fantastic.

I know its not for everyone, but i am super glad I got it!

So right now its great might not be forever but at the moment I cant complain!

I love mine too. I should have had it inserted all those years in between DS and DD rather than taking the OCP. Oh well. It's in now.

Just wondering. Do you get periods with the Mirena?

When i had my Mirena it took a long time to settle then when it had finally settled i didnt get a period. Some people experience spotting etc.

Yep. I've had mine inserted since June 2008 and my periods are really, really light.
I don't need to use a pad or anything just a pantyliner.
