Question 2nd cycle after D&E.. i feel stupid and neurotic

Ok so I am already getting obcessive about ttc...Finally had first Af after D&E and it was a killer 8 days in Early August. We got the go ahead from the doc, they took me off the rat poison type of blood thinner I was on and put me on Lovenox ( a low weight heparin) so we can get pg no worries.... BUT I am on cycle day 33 and had a positive Opk on cycle day 17. The blood serum tests and the 8 hpts all say bfn.. and still no AF. Is this normal? Did anyone else have delayed cycles after their first AF after a late loss? I was 16 weeks along when we lost the baby. I need to know if this is expected. Basically, I need reassurance or a boot in my butt. Either would be welcomed!

    Hi CeCesays
Sorry to hear about your loss.
You may find that your hormones are still mucking up, your body has been through alot in the last few months. Plus your probably finding yourself very emotional also. Please be kind to yourself and give yourself time to heal after this big ordeal.
I know how you feel about TTC as in late Aug I got the green light, all I want is a baby to love.

From what I can gather alot of the girls here have had probs with AF after their m/c. So the only word of advice I can give is take it day by day and look after yourself. Try not to stress too much

    Take care
    Chris

    CeCe,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had really long cycles after my d&c and only now 6 months later has it gone back to normal so the last two cycles have been what they were prior to being pregnant. My first cycle was like 6 weeks long! the second was about 48 days then the third was 37 and now finally 34! If you are concerned though talk to your dr. I had blood tests done to see if I had ovualted and had all my levels checked regulary as I felt I was going crazy not knowing what my body was doing but as my ob said some womens bodies just take a little longer then others to get back on track!
I hope all works out soon
    take care
