One of my close friends is just going through her 3rd m/c this year!! She had one in Jan, April and this morning her 3rd one started, although it's not confirmed she has a doc apt tomorrow....
She said she is going to ask for a D&C which I thought was a great idea from my own multiple m/c experience.
I just cant believe it, Im so devastated for her
Has anyone had multiple's in a row and gone on to have successful pregnancy? I know I shouldn't think this way but I feel like I've jinxed her from mine!!! I feel so so sad for her....
She is seeing a gyno tomoz, so hopefully they can work out what's going on & help her. THe weird thing is that she had a great pregnancy 3 yrs ago no issues & a great labour.
My heart really breaks for her, she is such a generous, loving woman who is so giving and I hate that she is going through this... THe worst is that I now live in another city to her so I cant even pop over for a coffee or anything...
Do you think she might have low progestrone?
THanks for listening, sorry this is a bit of a debrief... Any good news stories would be much appreciated xoox

: added a word.
No real assistance to give but hugs to your friend and she is lucky to have you as a friend - you have not jinxed her, she needs lots of support and it sounds like even though you are far away you are able to give her that.
Hopefully the dr can offer her some solutions.

I just want to firstly reiterate what Joeve has said about you being a good friend - supportive, concerned etc...
I don't really know if progesterone tablets would have helped your gf or not - I don't know the reason for her recurrent m/c, she would need to consider being tested for that and for the baby to be tested as well. Usually the reason for m/c is abnormalities but not always. I hope the Dr can give her some more information reassurance as to why. You certainly haven't jinxed her from your m/c. She is somewhat lucky that she has someone who has gone through the same thing having m/c & multiple ones can feel very isolating.
I have had two m/c prior to conceiving my DD (who is nearly 3 yo), so yes it is possible.
I wish your gf all the very best & hope she can find peace & closure
I have a girl friend that had 6 yes SIX mc in a row before having two DD's 20months apart. She did all the testing and they could never find out why she lost her other bubs! Horrible to live thru, she is a very strong women! Sending your girlfriend much love
