I had a miscarriage on the 14th of October (bleed for 1 1/2 weeks) and then 2 weeks later had a period but now i am still spotting from that period is this normal?
I was 9 weeks pregnant but bub passed away at 7 weeks. My miscarriage started week later after finding out that bub had passed. We had seen a heartbeat at 6 weeks so we thought everything would be ok. The issue i have is that this is my 4th miscarriage and none of the others have been like this eg: heartbeat, period and then continuing to spot. Has anyone else been through this or should i go to the dr and get it checked?
I am very lucky even though i have had 4 miscarriages as i have 2 beautiful babies and a step son, but i am really hoping for that 3rd as i do not feel complete
Trac73 sorry to hear about your m/c's. I would get checked out just to make sure everything has passed. My pregnancy losses have been different to that and I know alot of people experience different things so it could be very much normal but just to make sure I would get looked at.
Best of luck having your third child. I too have two children, multiple losses and don't feel complete as a mummy.
i was in sort of the same predicament as you, although the bleeding never stopped after my m/c. i had to have a d&c, but carried on bleeding, although i think i got my af as it increased then went back to a small amount. i had to go for an ultrasound to check if there were any products left, which there wasn't. i had to take tranexamic acid (Cyklokapron) to help with blood clotting, and this stopped the bleeding. you should go and see your doctor but i think you will be ok x
It looks like it has finally stopped, so now i will wait to see how the next period goes and then possibly see the doctor if it continues for to long that this one will be normal.
