I went to my OB today for my first appointment and was discussing my miscarriage with JellyBean in October with the Midwife. She was amazing and gave me this beautiful little Teddy bear called "Hope" that was donated through Bears of Hope by another family or mummy who have lost. Mine had the names "Jesse Jay" and "Jamie Vic" and was donated in honor of these beautiful bubba twins too precious to stay.
Inside the card it says
"An Angel in The Book of Life wrote down your babies birth and whispered as He closed the book 'Too beautiful for this earth'
I understand the pain you are faced with going home with empty arms. This bear comes to you from one mother to another to offer you and your family support and to let you know you are not alone. I truly hope this helps you find comfort and healing for your broken heart."
With my EDD for Jellybean on Saturday I've been able to sit and have a really good cry, I feel like it gave me permission to mourn my angel and remember... Thank you to Jesse and Jamie's mummy, I'll remember your boys always
Just thought I'd share. I'm definitely going to donate a bear in Jellybean's honour and thought maybe there are others on here who would be interested.
Love you Jellybean xo

Such a beautiful gesture. Sending love and hugs to you. I'm glad you felt that you could cry and grieve for Jellybean. I will be thinking of you on Saturday.
We received one when I miscarried a couple of years ago. DH keeps it on his bedside table.
We tried to dontate a bear to the company afterwards as we wanted to help others but the company never got back to us and we weren't able to contact them. Would love to hear of any other people/companies who do this if anyone knows
Thanks for sharing this. It's a wonderful idea and i'm sure that the family who receive your bear will cherish it, the way you do yours. It might help them grieve and remember their angel too.
I used to donate bears for my daughter, they used to accept traditional teddies, I donated over 100. Now they have there own bears and you just pay money to donate. But it helped me through many dark days.
thinking of those to boys, and thinking of Jellybean.
When we lost H they gave us a TLC bear. It proudly sits on my bedside table. At first I was like wtf do I want a bloody bear for? Now I love her being here. Ours has the name Isabella on it
