    Blighted Ovum... third miscarraige

    Third time lucky they said..
Don't stress.. everything will be alright..

Can't see anything on the scan.. supposed to be 6 weeks 2 days. Expected blighted ovum.
Seeing OB for confirmation and I want to get rid of it ASAP.
No hanging around waiting for my body to do the job.

IF i didn't already have 2 healthy kids.. id be in such a mess right now.. well .. more so right now.

    Then the doc told me...
"your young.. you can try again."

Someone please pass me a large large drink.. the alcoholic kind.

Tascha I'll drink with you. Life can be so cruel can't it? Are you sure there is no hope? They should do some investigations if this is the 3rd time its happened. I am going through the loss of a pregnancy also at the moment although mine I am sure is ectopic but I wont know for a few days. Its a horrible waiting game when you know your not getting a live baby out of it but technically your still pregnant. I'm drinking with you xx

I recently had an early m/c after previously having a mm/c & an ectopic (lost my left tube) and when I got the call from the Dr to say "I'm sorry" I left work & went home to pour myself a black label scotch & dry. Even though it was only 11am I needed something to numb my brain.

I will have a drink with you.
I am sorry that you are going through this, life can be cruel & unfair. Hold your kids close & allow yourself time to grieve xxx

    Hello everyone.
Thanks for all the kind thoughts.

I went to my OB after that initial GP Appointment. I was told by him (1 week ago) that he saw a normal 4 week pregnancy. And to come back a week later.
    So today I went back...

So ive just come back from my OB office. And was giving a 98% chance that this pregnancy will be a miscarriage by my next scan which he booked me in for in a week. He would not book my D&C untill he was a 100% certain.

He saw "movement" or sound.. not sure.. on the scan that didn't match my own heartbeat. For that reason he wasn't 100% sure that the pregnancy wasn't viable.
Making me wait for the dooms day next week.

Third miscarriage.. and a flippen, drag me on for ages one to boot.

Ive been told to hold onto the 2%.. I am sick of holding onto little to no hope. It just breaks my heart again and again.

    Thanks for listening.

(I should be about 5 weeks gestation today)

Thinking of you Tascha. Im in limbo land also it sucks when you have to wait and wait and you get a date you think you will know only for it to be prolonged again.

sorry again - the limbo really sucks - I think especially when you have been there before

be kind to yourself, and in some ways he is right.... there is always hope... even if it is small - although I know it's not that comforting, I will hope for you xox

Tascha, I really hope it is "something"... it is still early...
I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way..but.. with both my mmc I kinda "knew" something wasn't right iykwim? I begged the docs for blood tests and an early us, I have found out both times at 9wks 4 days...(blighted ovums, both) as that was the earliest I could ever see anyone to confirm pretty much, what I already suspected...

But I have hope for you, fingers crossed xx

I've been quietly following your journey. I hope the repeat ultrasound showed a baby with a healthy heartbeat.

I hope you are going okay Tascha. Sending love and strength.
