Butterfly, your baby was your baby regardless of the medical label put on it... I truly hope you can get that second opinion before you go any further. Make an appointment - it's only a consult - your FS doesn't even have to know if you feel more comfy with that...

One would imagine that I've got used to having to go without medical labels. I guess this was more of a case of I needed to know I'd been told the right thing. I needed to know that I could still trust my FS. Strange as it is that I'm going to be getting a second opinion, but I just don't want to change completely to a new doctor.

The feeling of having taken action, even if it's just the tip of the iceberg of the reading and research that I will eventually do, is helping. It feels good to be actually doing something positive towards trying to prevent this happening again. I feel as though the warrior part of my name has just kicked into action.
