I am really sorry to hear of you loss lissy . I would agree the procedure itself was not too bad - I felt the same way as you - I knew it was what I wanted etc. I wish you comfort in your recovery and time to grieve the loss of your little one.

I'm so sorry, I had a d&c 3 weeks ago. They'll let you go home from hosital when you can go to the bathroom and eat something after the procedure. It's the days after that it hits you, remember to be kind to yourself then.

Lissy I am so so very sorry that you are going through this it is just the most heartbreaking thing I can think of. I just had my D&C today after finding out on Thursday that our bubby had no heartbeat. I was also terrified, but completely confident in my decision that I wanted the D&C instead of waiting. I hadn't had a surgery under general before either.

I won't lie to you it is very scary, but the actual procedure isn't too bad. I am 6 hours post op now & I have no pain at all. The worst part for me was that they ask you over & over what procedure you're having & getting all of the details. It was hard for me to have to keep saying the same things over & over. Also when I woke up I was a bit confused, due to the anesthetic I think, but otherwise came out the other end sad but physically ok.

I wish you all the best tomorrow
