I'm using it to try to produce a healthy bub, once my hormones are settled.
I dont know if I'd use it to prevent a miscarriage. For me, if there's something wrong with bub, I'd prefer to miscarry ITMS. If there's other issues causing miscarriage - ie, clotting problems or whatever, then I'd talk to your acupuncturist about if it can help.
Thanks, Tashy. I know of a good one locally here. I have fibroids, which have shrunk to a size that makes them not worth operating on, but I wonder if they're why I've had two m/c and acupuncture may overcome that.
Yeah, the people I know that are having it love it. One has it for TTC and has noticed changes.
The fibroids, well at this point, I'm stuck with them, unless the acupuncturist can do something about them. I have two left, one is calcified though, and the other has shrunk. I went to get them surgically removed, but was told that it wasn't worth it, they were so small now and it would weaken my uterine wall. When I was pg with DD, I had five of them. I'm probably looking at them as a reason for miscarrying, when it's something totally different. Easy to blame what I know is there, ITMS.
Thanks again, Tashybabe. Glad the acupuncture is making a difference for you
i had A/C when we were ttc DS. once i was PG i went back for another session & the A/C said that at that stage she would do general relaxing A/C & one needle to help try & prevent m/c (well, i'm pretty sure she said something about making sure baby was secure) & not prescribe any TCM - i think she said that they like to leave things as they are & let the body do its job - unless i'd had a history of m/c in which case i'm pretty sure she said she could do some a/c or prescribe some TCM to help.
my memory is a little vague about it now but i'd say it would be worth talking to someone at the very least - could you try posting in the ask an expert section & see if chris tang has any advice/suggestions?
