    HELP PLEASe

I've already tried to call the midwife I was speaking with at the hospital but being the long weekend the clinic is already closed.

    I had a m/c on fathers day
Now it was nearly a month ago
I stopped bleeding only two days ago
    Now today

BRIGHT RED BLOOD AGAIN and horrid cramps WTF? Should I do

Should it get bad again before it's over or is this wrong? My hcg levels last week were only 15 so we expected it all over next week.

HELP PLEASE I really don't know if it's normal or not and can't go anywhere now
Ds is finally asleep after screaming most of the day and hubby is back at work for the night (. 10pm)

Could it be that you're getting AF? I know my AF afte my MC's was painful and bright red... even very clotty.
Have you had an ultrasound done to check that everything had gone?

You could possibly call labour & delivery and speak with a midwife there.

Not sure hun. but after my M/c (but had d&C) I got AF after 26days. But maybe won't hurt to get it checked out in case you have some retained product (sorry thats a horrible name for it).

hopefully someone with better answers will come along

That sucks! I'm surprised the hospital hasn't got you one through them urgently because of your hcg levels. I've had 2 emergency ultrasounds done through PMBH which were done either the same day or next day.

I hope you get some answers soon hun

Louise at Early Pregnancy Assessment Service is great but the hospital itself Especially the ER seems really bad, in terms of service

I presented at the hospital twice with bleeding and they wouldn't even give me an u/s.
    I'm really disappointed tbh.

Disgusting. I had issues with their emergency dept and actually wrote a letter of complaint and spoke with the minister for health in regards to PMBH's emergency dept. Their director ended up calling us an promising they would look into seeing pregnant & bleeding women faster and offering them a bed. Obviously nothing has changed in 3 years.
FWIW, there was never an Early Pregnancy Assessment Service back then (that I knew of anyway) and I have had crappy ED visits at pretty much every hospital I have been to.

Most Emergency Departments are unable to do U/S to check for things like retained products. It takes a highly skilled (and trained) sonographer to do that. They can often check for a heartbeat in later pregnancy but still without measurements etc. EPAS was created because of the ED limitations in skill and experience with early miscarriage and pregnancy complications.

Where I work, we get 4 emergency ultrasound slots per week day (not just for early pregnancy assessment either). There is no service on weekends. We refer our patients to external ultrasound services because they have more spots, more sonographers and are able to provide the service the public system cannot. They also have emergency slots so try to contact them ASAP to let them know you are bleeding. They may be able to fit you in earlier.
