Thanks 'My Turn' must of been such a shock after you had heard a heartbeat already xo and yes he mentioned it could take up to 4 weeks to have a natural miscarriage, I'm not sure emotionally I could handle that he only gave me the option of d&c not any medication either.

As others have said, only your and your DH can make the decision. If you want a second look just to be sure then request another scan. HCG dropping is an accurate indicator, Im so sorry
Like your OBGYN said it can takes weeks. I waited 4.5 weeks and nothing happened, not even a bit of spotting so had to have a D&C in the end anyway. It was mentioned that sometimes natural miscarriage may not happen at all and a D&C is necessary.
