Im so sorry babe I have had a D&C at 12 weeks and it didn't hurt at all. I felt fine the next day, but you can't drive because you go under a general, so it is better to have someone there. The hossy gave me mitaprostol the day before my procedure to take the morning of (to ripen the cervix). It was the most horrible painful experience of my life, worse than labour IMO.
It's totally up to you what your comfortable with hun, im so sorry you have to make this horrible choice in the first place
