Hi Ladies
Alison - Gosh the spotting could be anything. It could be implantation spotting or it could be an irritated cervix from the progesterone. I've never had spotting in my TWW so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm hoping it's implantation spotting.

Hi Porsche - I'm testing at the clinic on Monday if AF doesn't show prior. Had no more spotting so the progesterone is working so far. My prog on Monday was as high as it was when I had my last test during the last pregnancy which was at 6 weeks so at least I know the double up from the start is working. I don't feel confident at all, you know when you just don't feel it, I am going to be disappointed regardless but I just know in my heart it's not the month. Been so much going on lately it's ridiculous, hubby ended up in hospitla having his appendix out last week and then his dad found out after having a part of his bowel removed a couple of weeks ago with cancer that not only has it spread but it's so rare that there's nothing they can do for him. He's only 66. What a totally crap start to the year our family has had. Surely it has to turn around soon!!!! How are you going? Are you close to getting AF yet? I'm so far behind I've probably missed something.
How is everyone else going? It's about time we had some good news in here! xx

I stop BCP on Monday so I'm hoping AF shows her face that week. Ideally Tuesday lol. But Prepared for a TWW for her. The witch.
I really hope your FIL is ok. Cancer is never pleasant. My Dad was 55 when he died of cancer. I was 15 at the time. It's a horrible feeling when there is noting you can do. :hug:. I hope your DH is on the mend. Who knows with all that is happening it just might be the time for your sticky.
Oh Alison, I'm sorry to hear about your FIL. That's so awful :(
Just plodding along here. Had my LO's birthday last week. With that gone now, things have settled down a lot (I was running around like a chook with no head organising his at the last minute) so I can now concentrate on myself and start dealing with my m/c. Before we do another round of IVF, I have to get those crusty eggs in a better shape though. I start my acupuncture next week so hopefully that will make a difference in my egg quality. I'm also seeing my FS in 3 weeks to discuss what else we can do to improve those eggs. I will be skipping my next AF (hopefully due in 4 weeks) and with any luck starting IVF with the next cycle.

Applied for 10 over the last few days, its so tiring time is running out i cant believe my MIL could do this.:
We have a buyer for ginger (cow) but i think pigs, sheep and chooks will be freezer :'(
The more stress thats being added the more I think of Anthony and how blessed he is not to be surroundedby this crap, hes so lucky to be where he is and i feel sick saying that but I also feel sick knowing a grandmother can do this to her grandchildren

Has your DH spoken to his Mother about why she's doing this? It's really outta the blue, maybe she can be persuaded to give y'all more time. Maybe he can make her realise what a ***** she's being ;)
He tried all he did was ask for her to take the time limit off and the next day she filed an intervention order on DH. So I attempted talking to herand DH got charged with breaching his order as he must have put me up to it, its such a mess. A week before all this we were all so close (or so i thought) and getting along great

Mrs S - My goodness what on earth! Why is she doing this? I can't believe a grandmother would do this. I'd take your animals if you were in Perth, we have 100 acres down south with 13 sheep and 2 alpacas.
Miss B - ask your FS to prescribe you DHEA, I've been on it to improve egg quality and so far so good!
Porsche - hope AF comes so you can get cracking!!! I'm sorry to hear about your dad passing away so young, what sort of cancer did he have? FIL has been told there is no cure, he starts chemo a few days before Easter but it's only to try and prolong his life, it's spread from his bowel to his stomach lining so not good. The type of cancer he has is so rare, only .1% of people with cancer have this type, it's very aggressive and they don't know how to treat it as it's so rare. Very very sad. Meanwhile MIL is trying to organise for us all to go down to our farm for the Easter weekend (my mum who lives in the same town) is coming up here because my BIL and SIL had booked the holiday house (BIL and DH went halves inthe property) so now I have to juggle that with my family, I'm a little miffed in all honesty. Mind you, I really don't think they realise what this cancer is all about, perhaps denial? I would've thought that if he's starting chemo a few days before he won't feel like a 2.5 hour road trip let alone a weekend away.
AFM - this 2WW is killing me, feeling like AF is going to come any minute so I'm constantly running to the loo to check. I'm absolutely exhausted, feel like I could sleep forever but that's probably the progesterone. I have 2 lovely (not) pimples on my face and have woken with 2 massive coldsores on my lip, haven't had a coldsore in a long time....I am prone to them but rarely get them anymore. Probably the stress of the bloomin wait! The worst thing is I can't use Zovirax just in case and it's such brilliant stuff. Boo hoo. I test at the clinic Monday, I'll be day 27 - at least I know the progesterone is keeping AF away so far. Would be stoked to make it Monday as I haven't had a cycle this long in 12 months! I could POAS but I don't fancy seeing a BFN and ruining my weekend.

Oh MrsS, what a psycho of a MIL you have! I feel for you and your DH, but particularly for your DH as that's his own mother. He must be really hurting hun. Big hugs all round and a kick up your MIL's arse!!
Alison, thanks hunni. I am going to discuss the DHEA. How do you know it's helping you with your eggs? Sorry, probably a silly question......GL in this cycle darl, I really hope there is a BFP for you in it!!!!

Hey Miss B, well I got pregnant the 2nd month - it takes 2 months to work and also my FSH has gone down from 9 to 7.4 which is a good sign :o)
Thanks for that Alison :) I have been reading up on the DHEA and I'm finding conflicting advice so far, I just wanted to know a bit more about it before I ask my FS about the drug. I've read somewhere that most doctors won't prescribe it, why is that so? Is it one of those hit and miss drugs? I wonder what my FSH is, that tells you about the quality of the eggs right? And the AMH is about the quantity? My FS always told me that the AMH result sort of tells you a bit about the egg quality, ie if the AMH is low so will probably the quality of the eggs. My AMF was 3.8 in November 2011. God knows what it it is now :shakehead:(it was 12.4 in July 2010).

Mrs.S - I must have missed a previous post. Why is she kicking you out? I'm really sorry your MIL is doing this to you and to put an intervention order on her own son! That's rediculous. I can never understand family. They are your worst enemy some times. The rental market is so hard. For every application you put in there are 50 others. And the rent is so high! I don't know how the majority of renters do it.
Alison - We never found out what type of cancer it was. The Dr told us it was too far gone and we'd be looking at "this" side of Christmas. So it must have been end of August begginning of September when they said that and sadly 6 weeks later he passed away. The only sign he had was his testicle moved up into his groin so they removed it and he came home and I think it was the day after he went back to the hospital cause he was really unwell and the got his test results back and it came back cancer. He was admitted to the hospital that day and only left once to come home but he was so uncomfortable he was readmitted again. Maybe your family want to make the most of the tme your FIL has left? Families do some strange things when members are sick.
Miss.B - I've heard great things about DHEA. I've never used it though.
AFM I took my very last BCP last night so hopefully AF arrives this week FX.

Hi Girls! I wish I knew why I don't get notifications anymore! So annoying!
I did POAS Porsche and it was a big fat negative, AF arrived the next day, day 27 which at least is a sign the progesterone is working as that's the longest cycle I've had in 12 months! I wish however they'd warned me that coming off progesterone means heavy periods with clots, one the size of a small mouse! Horrid! AF only just finished properly yesterday, I'm day 9 today so went in for bloods and was a bit suss as had some EWCM yesterday and experiencing my usual O pains only be told by the clinic I'm ovulating within the next 24 hours! WTF, I'm only Day 9 today and I usually ovulate on Day 12/13. Is this normal? They didn't seem fussed but I get conflicting information constantly from them.....ie I found out after stabbing myself daily with a Clexane injection that I needn't have it until I get pregnant....I am so confused and unhappy with the ever changing information!!!!! AF showed for you yet?

Alison - :hug: Im sorry AF showed. GL for this cycle! I have very short cycles too, its not unusual for me to O on day 9 or 10. My Dr was never concerned about it.

Alison - Ahhh No. I was hoping I'd log back in and have a congrats waiting. Boo to Af. The witch. At least the progesterone seems to lengthen your Luteal. That's atleast one positive. Your clinic sounds very wishy washy. I think they need to clarify all the information before you start meds. Are you taking Asprin at all? Maybe start taking that and then when you get your BFP start the clexane. I'm on asprin (cartia) from the start of my cycle right up until I'm 12 weeks pregnant. I don't stop it between cycles either. It's supposed to help with blood flow to the uterus to help make your lining emby ready.
I have heard of ladies O'ing early. Have you O'd early before?

Yes AF arrived for me. Woo Hoo. She arrived 2 days after stopping BCP. So I'm stocked. I'm CD8 today and I start jabbing puregon on Saturday. I'm still sniffing synarel and jabbing later than normal becasue FS is away until the 11th and if I started jabbing earlier it would be too far between scans. So the plan is start jabbing Saturday with 180ui of Puregon and descrease from 2 sniffs to 1 sniff and then have a scan on Wednesday when FS is back and go from there. I would expect EPU to be around the 20th April.
Knock knock ladies... me again, I have posted over here https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...-a-179450.html I should have just posted straight in here... for those of you who have done this more than once, how do you?? How do you muster up the strength required and face this? How do you go on to 'try' again and maintain your sanity every step of the pregnancy... should I even be thinking about any of this now or just be in what is being asked in each moment... far out what a place to be. I have little tiny glimmers of hope and strength within me, and the cloud quickly comes back to take over, the support team really makes the difference and I am anxious for my DH to come home and be here with me. blah, excuse the me me post...
LBF - I saw you post here and just wanted to say Im sorry for your loss.
First of all, a loss after 12 weeks, when you think you are safe, when your body puts you through awful m/s, grows a little belly and shows you a beautiful h/b at all of your scans and then takes it all away from you, AGAIN is what makes the loss all the more difficult to deal with. You sound like youve lost faith in your body, thats totally normal hun, I did too. Its all still so raw, and you are going to feel every emotion over the coming days. Glimmers of hope are important and for me they have always helped in the healing process (except after my 4th m/c when I had no hope left). Now is the time to grieve the loss of your little one and your pg. Multiple loss is a cruel, cruel thing to go through.

ladybirdflies - I'm so sorry for your loss. It's not fair. After my first MC i was pretty bitter. I questioned my ability to have another successful pregnancy. Was I just a dud now? Who knows. We headed into our first IVF cycle and that consumed my waking moment. Throwing myself into that cycle making sure we were on track for TF etc... We were very lucky to have had it work straight away.
In December 11 we did our very first FET after having our DD2 and we were blessed to be pregnant again. But I knew there was something wrong. I didn't get the MS that I usually do. So at our 7 week viability scan I expected the worst. And I was proved right. Another BO. I'm angry and bitter at the world. It's not fair. Why don't I get to keep my baby? What did I do to deserve this? For now I've shoved it to the back of my mind. We are doing another full stim IVF cycle so for now that is my focus.
I know that I have withdrawn from family. I avoid family gatherings like the plague. I'm so sick of hearing about so & so's pregnancy. What makes her so special that she gets to keep her baby and not me? We didn't attened my BIL's Australia day BBQ because of that and they don't understand. They probably think I'm a b!tch. But I don't care. I have to look after ME mentally. If that means avoiding certain family members then so be it.
I guess life goes on and really no one cares unless they have experienced loss. Sure they say their sorry's etc.. but they are playing lip service to me (I did say I was bitter didn't I). Mind you no one but my mum, MIL & FIL know about my recent second MC.
Glimmers of hope keep me going. If I have hope then there is always a chance.
