But I think I spoke to soon.
Not really sure what to do, despite being on this road before.
We saw a FS on the 9/8, (along with previous post) he suggested taking extra folate and aspirin
We got a surprise BFP on the 1/9
Today I have slight bleeding - could this be a chemical (AF was due 29/8)
Implantation
Or M/C?
I have a Dr appt on Wed anyway, but if it's a chemical or m/c I want it on my records as the FS suggested if we have another loss then he will be able to request testing.
What would you do??

How much bleeding? I had a definite implant bleed with this pregnancy but it was before my bfp. I had another 2 bleeds at 12 weeks but only a few wipes worth.

So far it's been when wiping but clearish and bright red ITMS? slight cramping feeling
I'm pretty sure I'd be 5w today, I've never had implantation bleeding with the other pregs

Hi MLR, I have everything crossed for you. I am not sure what could be going on for you, I hope you don't spend too long in limbo. I will pop in to see how you are going. Did you see the tests I suggested for people who have two blighted Ovums?? I got tested a few months ago and all clear, this test can be done bulk bill at the GP, let me know if you would like the names again. Sending you strength to meet the next few weeks xx

I would suggest getting a bHCG asap to see what your levels are doing, I really hope its just one of those random bleeds that doesnt mean anything MLR :hug:

Thanks ladies, well appears it was just a few wipes worth (sorry for TMI) but has stopped.
Went to drs today, have done a BT for hcg, and tsh (thyroid) as they still keeping an eye on it.
I'm over the moon my pap came back clear as the last 6 years have been CIN3 and 2 laser treats so I'm very happy with that!!
I'm not joining the BB group just yet will wait until after scan - at 7 weeks - so I have 1w and 5d to wait!
I'm praying daily there will be a heartbeat...

I'm behind but congrats MLR1901, I didn't realise you were pregnant! I hope the bleed was a one off, I've had so many of them but of course they've all ended badly so I have no idea what causes them otherwise. I do know lots of people who have had them and been fine so keep keeping on and I'm sure this will one be a sticky :o) That's great news on your pap smear as well, what a relief!

AFM - Day 27 and AF arrived this arvo so that means technically I'm Day 1 tomorrow, Day 28 - the best cycle I've had in a loooong time! Only had a tiny spot of spotting yesterday otherwise nothing until full flow today. Normally I get 3 days of consistent brown spotting around day 22 and then by day 25 AF is here so i'm pretty happy. Have my FS appointment tomorrow, first one in 8 weeks so looking forward to seeing what his thoughts are after doing my first tracking cycle with them! I know my prog is still a little low as they told me but it can't be as bad as it has been, I'm really thinking the last miscarriage re-booted my hormones, hope it only gets better, I need all the help I can get!! Will let you know how my appointment goes. I'm feeling pretty scared about the whole pregnancy again thing though, my good friend's sister who is my age just had to give birth to her 20 week gestation boy yesterday as she went for her 19 week scan last week to be told he had trisomy 18 (edwards syndrome), so so sad and scary as it wasn't picked up at the 12 week scan. Makes me stress about all the things that can go wrong at my age, ho hum.

Hey Girls, just checking in to see how all the preggy girls and non preggy girls are going?

I'm officially ttc'ing, on day 9 today and about to ovulate (earlier than usual) - back to the clinic Monday for another scan to check for sure and then I'm on estrogen and progesterone and fingers crossed we catch a good egg and it sticks! VERY nervous and apprehensive, one more miscarriage and that's it for us!

9 weeks on tuesday, bub is doing great just waiting for my 12wk scan :D

My AF is due anytime now, unless... I have kind of lost hope that we'll conceive naturally and during O time we were travelling to Europe, but maybe that would have brought us luck, we'll see. Am not POAS'ing this time, although I do have one stowed somewhere... When we get back without a BFP we'll start an FET in October, but fingers crossed, who knows, we might not need it.

Alison- I have everything crossed that everything goes well and you catch that Eggie!

Freya- I am so happy things are going well! I will defently be keeping an eye out on updates and most important the birth announcement next year! xx

Me4ever- I hope you have a wonderful trip! Abd anything is possible heard of so many people falling pg on their trips so I'll keep everything crossed for you too.

Afm- had an horrid cycle I o'd twice and didn't catch the Eggie the 2nd time. Cycle went longer by 2 days and spotted before af arrive which never happened before. So cd1 today but keeping my spirits high. Only ds1 was the easiest to concieve the last 2 and my mc's took a bit longer to happen so I know it doesn't happen for me straight away. But their is still hope for a winter baby so fingers crossed it will happen.

AFM - Well girls I am officially in the 2WW eeek! I'm on estrogen tabs to help support the progesterone this time and this new clinic do the progesterone as pessaries rather than suppositories. Anyone know if there's any difference in absorption? The nurse told me it makes no difference but everything i google gives conflicting information. As progesterone is my issue I am really concerned I should be putting them in the back way rather than front way lol. Any experience/knowledge on this would be appreciated? xx

me4ever - hope it's a natural miracle and you have to dig that hpt out from wherever you've hidden it!

alison - i'm in the tww too. I'm a week ahead of you tho... feels odd for our cycles not to be completely in sync the way they usually are lol. Sorry don't know about the suppository/pessary question, but hopefully someone will answer it for you. Are you on high folate or aspirin or something for that condition you and your dh have?

Has anyone ever taken aspirin (low dose)?

Am enjoying spring, and hopefully this is when my body likes to get utd (was with both my boys.) So let's bring it ladies, spring bfps for all! xx

Hi Smamfa - oh darn we are out of sync lol! Good luck for testing day, another week for you then? I am being tested in a week to check my levels - the new clinic weren't going to test me until 2 weeks down the track but I told them my peace of mind and nerves couldn't handle waiting that long to check if my progesterone was the right levels, I've got to that point before only to be told I should've been on a higher dose but by then it's too late. I started estrogen last night and progesterone this morning, on 2 x 200 mg a day, trying the pessaries this time to see if it makes a difference. Not sure if anyone else has ever had this but this afternoon I had this sudden urge to go to the toilet and I had a bout of diarrhea (sorry TMI), no stomach pain or cramps, just needed to go, do you think it's possible it's my body adjusting to the progesterone increase as it's been 4 months since I've been on any supplements? I thought i might've had something with wheat in it because I'm intolerant but I haven't and I always get stomach pain/cramping with that. Hope this doesn't happen every time :o As for what else I'm on, I'm on high folate and Vit C (as Vit C helps your body absorb the folate better) - specialist said that's all that matters right now and don't bother with the elevit/blackmores at the moment. I am not on any aspirin or heparin injections wahooooooooooooooo! Not that the aspirin bothered me but quite frankly I was on it for both my miscarriages so it made no difference for me. Are you in any other supplements at all?

I agree with you, I wasn't keen on a winter baby, only because I have noticed this year Amelia has had one cold after the other and was wondering how dealing with a newborn and a sick little one would be but I am hoping as she gets older her immune system gets stronger and it won't occur as often (wishful thinking perhaps) lol. Anyway, to be honest I don't care anymore, I just want a pregnancy and bub to stick and be healthy hee hee. Come on girls we can do it, it's well and truly past our turn!!!! xxx

Alison - You can insert your pessaries rectally if you want. I know a number of ladies who do that as there is much less mess than vaginally. I could never bring myself to do it rectally but the option is there if you really want :).

Hi Porsche - how are you going lovely girl?! So nice to hear from you. I've always done the progesterone rectally - I call them bum bullets lol but I thought I'd try it differently this time, see if it makes any positive difference, I'm not sure whether one is better than the other but the nurse did say when it's the uterus you want to help it makes more sense to put them in that way. Besides,I found using the suppositories made me want to go to the toilet so half the time they came out before they'd fully absorbed lol.

Today it is two weeks since my curette... I'm okay, but.. just now I feel a bit weird.... leaky breasts seem to be reducing, but essentially I'm not TTC, because I'm waiting for AF.... but I am at the same time.... I'm doing IVF... but we are not doing a cycle until after seeing FS at the end of October... so essentially we are not doing IVF at the moment either... I don't want to be TTC anymore.... I just want a baby :(

Allison - I did the progesterone bullets and it wasn't that messy vaginally if you do them at night before you go to bed..... (if you have to do in the morning it's a bit of a pain as you 'should' lie down for 30 minutes for them to absorb, and I found a panty liner was useful then... but at night I didn't really need one.

Smamfa - I heard you can eat Kiwi fruit as it's a natural asprin.... I bought some during my last cycle.... but I don't like them enough so I never ate them :doh:

Got a box in the corner of the lounge waiting for me to store the ultrasound pics and everything "blob 1" - but can't bring myself to do it... thought I was getting there, but tonight when I got home, I did a questionnaire to send back to the researcher (I was involved in an acupuncture trial), and now I just feel... bleugh....

I guess we will all just plod along.... I know my head feels less messy this week, and it's easier... but I don't really want it to be easier, I just want to be pregnant.... I'm sick of being left behind and waiting for my turn.

Hi Myturn and welcome, albeit not under great circumstances, everyone in here is so supportive and lovely, I've had 4 miscarriages,the 2 most heart wrenching have been this year and just having this forum to vent to has helped me to move on so much. I hope your pain eases soon and you can move on with your treatment. Was that your first successful IVF cycle? I am going through a fert clinic too but I'm not a good candidate for iVF as I have a low egg count - my issue is practically non existent progesterone so am trying once more for a natural with supplementation and if nothing works we will give IVF a go with the knowledge that it may well be a total waste of time and money. I am on 2 pessaries a day, the night ones like you say are totally fine but the morning one even with lying down for 30 minutes I'm still having discharge from it, I hope I'm putting them in right, I just assume you push it in as far as you can??

Hi girls...

I just did a hpt cos I am going out tonight and wanted to have a glass of wine as consolation (I was convinced this cycle was a bust and was moping around this morning like anything.)

And it was a bfp...

except the 'f' stands for 'faint'. I don't know whether it is 11dpo-faint or chemical-faint.

I just found an old hpt from one of my chemicals in the cupboard and this line is darker than that... still faint though.

If it is a chem it will be my 4th mc in a row...

HELP! Kinda freaking with nerves now.

Omg Smamfa that's awesome news!! It wont be a chemical this ones a keeper xx I hope to keep up the tradition of our being in sync and getting one too hee hee. How exciting, nerve wracking too but I have a good feeling about this one yay.

Am I allowed to jump in here too? I stalk you all occasionally when I am feeling glum and need to know I am not alone/totally insane! :redface: We are currently TTC #2 after a couple of losses & I find it a much harder road than before we knew what pregnancy loss felt like.
