Hi

I am actually in the opposite situation. Since my D&C in April after losing my son, I had AF 17 days later and then nothing since. I am CD86 today and definitely not pg - last POAS was a week ago. So I don't know if it takes time for your cycle to normalise back to your usual length.

I would suggest that you get some b/t done to check your FSH, LH and estrogen levels at a minimum. I think there are also some other new tests that can be done (I read about them in a book by UK doctor Marilyn Glenville) which check your ovarian reserve. Even if these tests do show you are peri-menopausal there are still things you can do. I am 42 and have been seeing a TCM for 12 months now. She was able to regulate my cycle and extend it to 27/28 days rather than the 24/26 days it was previously. Perhaps you might benefit from some herbs and acupuncture as well if you haven't already tried them?

I wish you luck with finding answers and hope that you have some support to assist you with your grief. I understand completely where you are at. I should be 37 weeks pg today. Every now and then it hits me. You were very brave to have gone to the baby shower. I don't think I could have done that.
