Absorbent bed pads - feedback?

I am wondering if anyone has tried any of the absorbent bed pads (like Conni or Brolly sheets) and what your opinion was of them?

We tried a Conni pad at my cousin's and it seemed good and now I'm tossing up between the two. Would it be better to have one that tucks into the mattress (like Brolly) or just a bed pad?

It'll mean we can dispense with night time pull ups, since DD only does a wee usually in the morning when she's sleeping deeply (if she does at all). I think both can be washed and tumble-dried as well.

Any feedback? Am I wasting my money?

we have a conni and its been greatbut we take it off as soon as its wet

I probably should add that DD wakes up pretty much as soon as she does a wee (afterwards of course ), takes off her pull-ups, puts PJs back on and comes into bed with us. So she won't be sleeping on the wet mat. It'll be to protect the sheet/mattress on those nights.

The one I have is Lorraine Lea Linen, which is basically the same. Both this one and the Brolly sheet (haven't heard of Conni) hold up to 2 litres. We haven't had any problems at all with it. Nina is a very heavy sleeper, so if she does do a wee, then she won't wake up! But I haven't had any leaks from the protection sheet we have.

then we figured out that the wee was a habit... so taking the nappy off meant he learnt quickish that if he wee'd in bed he got wet..ITMS

I have the lorraine lee linen its great but I think one that tucks in would be so much better, some night we check on jack and the pad is on floor, he toss's turns so much IYKWIM!!!

we got the conni that tucks in
and we bought it from paraSA.. the people who have lots of stuff for those who a re constinence challenged.. i think we paid $30 for it which i think was cheaper then i found them online.

The Brolly sheets arrived in two days from NZ - great service! I've been using one on DD's bed since we got them and wouldn't you know it, not a single accident to try them out with! It would just be my luck that we shell out $$ so I'm no longer having to change wet linen, only to have her suddenly go dry all night consistently. Still, she's not well atm and it's nice not having to worry that the extra sleeping is going to mean extra washing!
