Has anyone that uses Aldi Mammia nappies noted a change in the nappies and their specified weights? I opened a new packet tonight to find the nappy design has changed but when I looked on the front of the green toddler packet they say from 10 to 15kgs. I'm sure it used to be 8 or 9kgs as my DS has been wearing these since he was about 12 weeks old as he is a big buddha. I'm sure I wouldn't have purchased the green ones back then if they had 10-15kgs on the packet.
He is 11 kgs now but the yellow Crawler size (which we didn't use for long) say 6 to 11kgs. Has anyone noticed a difference in quality?? I hope not as I am in love with both the price and quality of Aldi nappies.
I had thought the crawlers went up to 9kgs and the green pack was 9-18kg? but then again I have a terrible memory, so who knows.
I have noticed recently that DS seemed to be needing changing a little more often, but just thought that he was doing more wee's as he is bigger. Maybe they are less absorbant? I've had a couple of tabs come off lately too but had attributed that to the fact that he will not lay still while I'm changing him, so I have to be a bit quicker and therefore a bit rougher on the tabs.
I hope they aren't sacrificing quality. I love the aldi nappies.
They used to be 7-16kg! I wonder why they changed them? I only noticed last week, but didn't buy any because I was after the Crawler size for DD and they'd sold out. I thought I'd get the next size, but the now start at 10kg, a big difference!
The weight brackets changing could be possibly to do with them now have a newborn pack. Whereas originally you good only start from small which I think went from 4kg (correct me if I am wrong please long time since we had small nappies lol). I know I had to wait until DS was 5-6kg before he would fit in them.
OMG, I am so glad I'm not the only one noticing a difference. I never really looked at weights, but my son is 22months and we've been using Aldi for a long time because of all the other brands we tried, they were the only ones that didn't leak of a night.
Last week I bought a pack of nappies and noticed the new pictures and the nappy seemed longer and felt thinner. That's when he started wetting through again I had 2 old ones left, tried them and no leaking... So I filled out a complaint form (they don't know there's a problem unless someone tells them) and the area manager rang me the following day. He asked me to take in the packet and a couple of nappies ans they would contact Head Office and the supplier. I went in the next day and they gave me my money back for that pack.
So, I tried Huggies last night and they worked I am hoping to hear back from Aldi as they are better priced....
i'm not sure about the nappies themselves changing - i haven't noticed. but we've been on the green toddler nappies for a few months & what i've never understood is that on the box it says 10-15kg & on the packets themselves it says 7-16kg no idea which is the 'right' sizing.
I'm in Bendigo, and I haven;t noticed them change. DS is over 13kg's and we use the red pack, the one I have at the moment says 12-25 kg, so the green should fit an 11kg bub fine, I also have a pack of the yellow here, that were purchased recently for dd that are 4-9kg and they are mediums.

Aldi nappys come in small mediume large & extra large, pull ups and I think they are introducing a new born range as well, as I found some there before dd was born, and have a pack here to try.
