Yep the new Aldi are crap! We thought maybe we needed to go up a size so we tried that and DS still woke up soaked They also have a horrible smell as soon as he wets in them so waste of money on those 2 packs. We only use disposables at night, MCNs through the day. Mamia used to be the best now they are terrible!
We have changed to the Coles Drifit and no leaks, no chemical smell, and no gel. I think that was another of Aldi's "improvements" but I'm not a fan of gel on DS's skin either.

I got them from supermarketdeals (google it) thats their standard price, however last week was free shipping if you spent over $30

Normally you had to pay $11 shipping.

yeah i too have noticed that they are not so great now. they arent the worst we have used, but they dont cut the mustard in the way that they did. we use them pretty much overnight only (MCNs during the day) but today we travelled on a plane and i noticed that the smell was gross and when i looked inside it was completely soaked and chalky ITMS. i will have to shop around now.

I also found they were quite stiff too so didn't fit snuggly
