Ok I'm seriously thinking about changing to MCN's but I'm a bit worried about which one's to use as alot of them are made out of man made materials.
DS has excema.
I'm wondering if there are any that are made from cotton?
Your best bet is to stick to nappies made from bamboo or hemp. My sister's DD had problems with even bamboo which is natural, but I think it would mostly be ok. And hemp is supposed to be very healing so that would be a good option, although I think not as absorbent as bamboo. I suggest you try a couple first to make sure they don't cause a reaction before you spend a lot of money.
nipnaps have heavily discounted trial packs on their nappies - which include cotton and bamboo.
My DS gets his skin irritations where things rub - so it might pay to get a couple of different types and swap between them so that the same place doesn't get rubbed all the time. We alternate motherease nappies and disposables and find that the rashes are much reduced compared to using one or the other.
