Thanks for the recommendations . I've even got a stockist for bambino mio here in our town! Has anyone tried the cheap flanalette fitteds available at Big W? They're only about $5 plus the over pants, but is that too cheap to be true and to do the job?

Yeah stay away from those at big W. The absorbent bit is actually just wadding, you like in a cheap pillow. There is nothing to it as far as absorbency goes
