Is it embarrassment or pain? A suggestion I read once was to paint a "magic stick" and tell her that when she holds the magic stick, the poo will not hurt/not be embarrassing or whatever the issue is. If she wants to be on her own, perhaps you could put her on the potty and close the door, leaving her on her own. Good luck!
