Dee - we also use Aldi nappies, as well as cloth, and they are really good. Never had any problem with leaks either. We originally used Huggies but I found he seemed to grow out of them about 1kg earlier than the package recommended. We then went onto the Coles brand ones which I loved - they were specifically for boys, and were nice and high in the back which suits my DS. But unless they are on special, they are about the same price as Huggies, so once we got an Aldi's down here, i decided to give them a go and for the price, definiately no complaints!
And the Aldi wipes are really good too! I think they are about $2.99 for a pack of 80, and come in a good package with a snap top opening, unlike some of the others which just have a little sticker thing for closing them and they dry up really quickly.
