    Mayaness, I agree with your point about putting pants on INSTEAD of undies, rather than doing both. I have done that, too.

    Gigi,I would be worried about white carpet, too. Actually, I sooooo wish we didn't have any carpet (ours is nasty brown speckled stuff, though, so looked filthy, even when it was brand new), especially now that we're TT. DD loves tipping the potty out over the carpet. Grrrrrr!
    And yes, i found those terry towelling trainers without a waterproof layer totally useless. Wee still leaks out of them and undies are just as good at catching poos. The only reason I have a few of those terry ones is because DD is quite skinny and those come in a size 1 while most undies start at size 2-3 and are too big for her.
    I personally found that skirts or dresses without undies were really hard for her to handle. half the time, the skirt was hanging into the potty. Legwarmers however can be brilliant if you wanna do the bare bottom thing in cooler weather. But they don't teach them to pull down clothes...
