With sposies, we have 4 heavy ones in the day (1-2 have poo too), and overnight one is normally about a third full. For the longest use, it has the least amount of wee. When she was younger she wee'd heaps, the night nappy was like 1kg in the morning. Toddlers drink more and therefore wee more. Every bub is different though. Maybe try a cover and boosters with sposies for heavy wetters.
eating onions or asparagus can make the wee pong! I wonder if that could go through breastmilk too? (I can't check - I'm allergic.)
my baby wakes totally dry (cloth nappy) from most sleeps - 4 hours - only wet if she takes ages to go to sleep after being put down, or mostly if I don't notice her awake for a while. She waits a few minutes then pees a flood. Went 9 hours last night and was totally dry in teh morning. I think they pee when they stir - certainly not while deeply asleep.
I think though that kids with bedwetting issues are not the same as normal babies - I think part of the reason they bedwet is because they don't hold while they are asleep - which is the normal thing. That's why it's so hard to help bedwetting becuase it's something they do while asleep which is totally out of their control adn something wrong with how their bodies respond.
