is he ready????

DS has just turned 3.

we haven't really been toilet training him just every now and then putting him on the toilet and hoping he gets the idea. only once has he done a wee which we made a huge deal about but since then nothing.

anyway in the last month I have noticed that occasionally when he does a wee he wants his nappy changed. we use MCN's during the day on him. anyway recently in the last 2 weeks after he has done a poo in his nappy he goes off and takes it off and tries to clean himself up. DH noticed too that yesterday as he was doing a wee DS stated, oh I am weeing. I am really confused as to know whether this means he is ready or not.

I'd say go for it. Decide to do it and stil with it. Worse that's going to happen is you get a few accidents

Ask him if he wants to start going on the toilet or potty

thank you. I have asked him for awhile now if he wants to go or not. sometimes he says yes other times no. he will sit on the toilet for a couple of minutes but never does anything. I think we have entered the toilet training phase now!
