If you are not against secondhand ones, check out some secondhand nappy sites to see if you can get a bargain. Not all nappies work for all babies, and there is nothing worse than spending $40 on a brand new nappy to have it fit horribly on your child! I've cried once or twice for that reason.. hahah!!!

First work out what kind of nappies you would be most leaning towards using, all-in-ones, all-in-2's, pockets, fitteds - people have different preferences. Then work out if you want OSFM (one size fits most so goes from baby to toddler) or sized nappies. Sized nappies are usually a better fit than OSFM and not as bulky.
