Question Help, opinions and advice please.

XH uses terry flats (cloth nappies) at home. I used to when I lived there, but living with my parents has made this impossible.

The issue is, that Ned has very wide thighs. He is about to turn two, and I will be toilet training him this summer. Over the last year (since I left XH) he has had absolutely terrible nappy rash over his thighs. The doctor says it's because the covers that XH uses are too tight, and that XH isn't changing him anywhere near often enough. As a result, Ned has thrush, excema and a rash over all his thighs. The poor little mite has been in such pain.

Anyway, I'd been trying to get XH to stop using cloth for two weeks to give Ned's thighs a chance to heal, but it was only when the doctor threatened to call DoHS (DOCS for those in NSW/QLD) that this actually happened. XH also hasn't bought ANY new covers, well ever, but certainly since I left Ned has no new covers. So the ones XH is using are twelve months old, and probably at best a size 1-2 (ie 11-14 kilos approx).

So I'm going to buy XH a few new covers, because I believe if he wants to use cloth he should, but not at the expense of our son's skin. I have discussed this with XH and explained what I thought was best - he's happy for me to do the looking. He won't use anything knitted, and IMHO the easier the better, IYKWIM!

I need to know what would be "best", or what your suggestions are, in respect of covers. XH will continue to use the terry flats. Ned is wearing size 2-3 (mostly 3s) and has very strong, wide thighs. He weighs about 16.5 kilos.

Links (via PM) or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
