Smile How old were your bubs when u started?

    Today we bought a potty
We just happened to literally trip over it in a shop and its blue (we have a son) so we thought why not?
We opened it up when we got home and our son, points and says toilet. then he went and sat on it..... Woo Hoo.... this might be easier than I thought, hes only 16 months though. Anyone started this early and had an success?

That's great You can have success at this age and then they can suddenly regress for no apparent reason. I know of little girl who was toilet trained at 18mths and they had no issues.
My DS1 was TT at 2.5yrs and DS2...we have just started again this week He showed no interest despite previous attemts over the last 12mths.
Hope it works out for your little man.

My DD1 was fully toilet trained before she was two, and DD2 has just turned 1 (3 days ago) and i have her using the potty now as training for when we get into it seriously. She is pretty regular with her poos so i just pop her on the potty with some toys in reach and she does it.

DD started young, i bought a potty just for her to get used to it, took her ages to actually do a wee in it, and even then it was only once. We moved to the big toilet with one of those little seats on it and now she pretty much asks to go ever time in the toilet. although im not brave enough to get rid of the nappy! I guess we started around 14 months, but she only really got it at about 17 months, and even then we have weeks were she isnt keen and weeks where she is totally on the ball! I just decided that it didnt matter if she TT or not and i think being super relaxed about it really helped!!
