my middle child is 6 and still wets every night. He occasionally has a dry nappy and a wet bed but usually if the nappy is too loose of he has been restless and ended up with his penis sticking out the side. The doctor will not assist us until he is 7 so we are just not making a big deal of it until then.

I would recommend making sure his nappy is fitting properly, and if it still happens then don't let him in your bed but be prepared to change his bed in the middle of the night and get him back in it if it does happen. That way if he is doing it deliberately he loses the prize of sleeping with you. Try a star chart with a reward for a dry bed, and a bigger reward for a dry nappy too. It's very tiring though, you have my sympathy.
