Buying from the US

Hi there,

I'm looking into buying some bumgenius nappies and I've noticed that they are about $45 to buy online here in Australia. Given our dollar is so good i'm surprised that they aren't cheaper, so I thought I'd try and get some prices from the States (although the postage might mean that buying in Australia works out better, not sure).

Has anyone bought nappies from the States before? If so, what sites are reputable?

I bought some bumgenius years ago from the US from a site called Wee Bunz. They were great. I bought some with a girlfriend so at the time inc shipping it worked out to being AU$19 per nappy.. so ALOT cheaper.

Thanks for that, Star!! I just looked up the website and they are selling the AIO for about $25, minus the shipping. Reusable wipes were about $2. When I work exactly what I want I think I will buy from there.

I buy things on line from the states all the time. No nappies as yet but any of the websites you come across these days are usually pretty safe if you use paypal to purchase

Yeh it was about 3 years ago now when i bought from there.. i think it was the older ones and they were around $15 each or something. I think those ones youre looking at that are $25 are the organic ones.. just the reason why they cost a little more.. you could always email and ask when theyre getting the others back in and how much shipping will be.

$15 is excellent, you certainly got a bargain. Yes, I'm trying to get those one size AIOs. I'm pretty happy with $25 as I've seen them in Australia for $45. I've heard that the bumgenius has a pretty good reputation bar some elastic problem overtime.

I only use them part time, but have with both kids and found them great, never had a problem with them at all. Ive never used anything else, never had to. I just like that you dont need any extra covers or anything with them, and the size is adjustable! So havent had to buy bigger sizes or anything as they grow. But yeh email them they may give you a good deal or something. They were really nice when we bought from them.

i bought blueberry diaper from the US a few years back when they had an awesome deal, was really cheap compared to here.

try looking at hopshopgo as they are a forwarding company and may have some shops that sell nappies
