Little swimmers

My 7 month old has just started swimming lessons. As much as he just loves the lesson I am not loving the price of the 'little swimmers' that he obviously wears while in the pool. I just wanted to know.... if he has not done anything in the swimmer is it OK to dry it out and use it again??

Yes, I used to rinse my dd's out and re-use them. They are really too expensive to be using one each time, unless theres an accident!! You can also buy special baby swimsuit bottoms that can be washed and re-used whether theres an accident or not! I think you can buy them at Amart Allsports?

yep when i used them i reused aswell but i made apair of bathers my self

I used to reuse them too... I could stretch out one pair to last at least 5 or so swimming lessons usually.

Thanks for the info ladies... now where would I get some of the cloth swimmers and are they for boys too?? At the moment he just wears the little swimmers under his boardshorts?

Yes, for boys too, mine is a boy
google 'the wee wuns' or darlings downunder and you should find somw swim nappies on there. Others might have some other links, most online cloth nappy store will sell them.

ETA : The stlye I have is a 'splash about' which is kind of like wetsuit fabric. Am looking at getting a new one soon though, not sure what I'll choose yet.
