Hi all,

DD is 3 and has been day toilet trained for well over a year! However, she is totally not trained at night. She won't poo at night, but clearly subconsciously wees in her nappy. She is even getting quite frustrated herself at this - wants to be a big girl and wear undies to bed. I have told her that she needs to have a dry nappy (originally for 3 nights in a row, but now I'll settle for one night!). She understands and says she won't wet, and in the morning says she didn't do any wees, but she has and hasn't realised. I am now using pull ups at night in the hope that she feels the wetness, but still no change. I have also tried putting her on the toilet before we go to bed at night - she has done a wee pretty much in her sleep, but still wets during the night. We have left the toilet light on and discussed how she can get up and go herself, but I just think the thought doesn't occur to her once she's deep in sleep.

I don't know if there's anything else I can do other than wait for a magical night when it all happens? Ideally she'd be night trained before new bubs arrives in November, but it's no big deal. More it's her disappointment in it that bothers me. I'm not really prepared just to go with the undies, and hope she doesn't wet, I can't be bothered getting up and changing the sheets - I'm getting little sleep as it is at the moment, but if that's the way to do it, I guess I can give it a go!

Thanks!
