Q about bamboo flats

Has anyone used bamboo flats with a snappi? I'm just wondering if the little prongs on the snappi go right through the bamboo as it's so thin... I tried one on Kynan and ended up taking it off as I was worried it was going to poke/scratch him.

Yeah, I had it in a Jo fold but modified a bit so that it would go all the way around Kynan's waist so there probably weren't as many layers under the snappi as usual. I guess it won't be a problem when folded for a newborn.
