    Question about TT & poos

I started toilet training DS on Saturday and he has not had a wee accident for 2 days. He is so awesome LOL!!

My question is about poos. He did not do a poo for a couple of days and finally did one last night in his jocks and again in his night nappy. It was a fairly gross one and I was wondering if he held it in for a couple of days as he was too scared to go to the toilet. Is that possible?

Also, how long did it take for your sons to get the hang of pooing in the toilet? I can change dirty nappies without a problem but gagged last night when I was cleaning his jocks .

I know Cooper is a long way from being properly toilet trained but no weeing accidents after 3 days is just amazing to me. LOL, I had to call my mum and gush !

Any advise/info would be gratefully appreciated!

Great effort on being wee trained. I'm training DD too and all I'm doing with poos so far is when I hear/see her bearing down/pushing I stand her over the potty. Then do massive celebration when she did and then give her a sticker. Apparantely they have trouble sitting on the potty to do poo because it isn't natural position so they physically have trouble. Is your little boy using the toilet or potty?

He is using the toilet as he refuses the potty. He uses it as a toy horse ! He uses the toilets at daycare, they are toddler toilets, so I can't convince him a potty has the same function.

We are already doing the sticker thing for wees. Might have to get some special poo stickers (did I just type that LOL).
