Any idea where to get them or if they even exist? Juliette is weeing on the potty quite regularly now but I have no idea where to get teeny tiny knickers for her. I haven't tried size 2-3 yet, but I am sure they will be too big for her considering size 2 pants are way to big at the moment.
i know gigi was looking a while back for bilby, not sure if she found any, we found 2-3 big to start with too but they finally fit now, not much help am i!
I couldn't find any smaller than 2-3 either so had to start DD in that size, they were quite big on her at first. Have a look at different brands, some are smaller than others.
I fine undie sizes so irritating, they jump from 2-3 to 4-6 it's so hard to find the in between sizes.
Sarah if you google nooneewilga, she makes undies for babies and small toddlers and all the EC underwear etc, They are expensive at $8pr but I think they would be worth it because you know they would fit and no gaping bum. You just have to measure them up and send her their measurements.
Just worth a try - my nieces were toilet trained from 13 months and one of them in particular was tiny, I was paranoid about her girly bits being flashed when she sat down due to gapping, anyway we got undies from Target. They were target brand, you buy them individually or in a pack of two (hanging on a coathanger not in a packet), they are cotton with a bit of lycra in them (much like adult bonds undies but they were small and fit her cute little bum quite nicely, they were cut nicely not disimilar to a hipster brief for an adult. They actually look similar to adult bonds and you may have been able to get a 1-2 in them come to think of it - worth a look :-) Not sure if it helps - from memory about 3.50 a pair.
Yeah, the smallest brought ones I could find were a target brand too, they were still a 2-3 but they were cut differently, a lot more like a hipster than the other ones.
We had trouble finding any for our tiny girl either, and the little guy is shaping up the same way.
The Target ones were even too big.
Watching this thread with interest.
My DD was tiny and TT early also. I used to put her in those bonds stretchy nappy cover pants thingys (IYKWIM!!) but without the nappy underneath. They used to come in stripes or solids and were a good cut - seemed very comfy and definitely no gaping on the crotch. Not the terry-towelling ones, the cotton/lycra blend. They come in baby sizes and I think I used to buy the 000 for her little tushy. I did find some Bonds knickers in a size 1-2 at an outlet store (at DFO Moorabbin if you're in Melbourne, the shop is still there and they still stock Bonds) and I bought about 10 pairs! $1.99 each... bargain! She's almost 7 now and still wearing them... maybe I should buy her some new ones! Love Bonds knickers - built to last!
I have one pair of Bright Bots I got from somewhere, so I assume they still make them? They fit my DD but too soon to put her in them and I was going to look up how to get some more, too.
My Dd has no bum so I was having trouble finding knickers to fit her.. Best and Less size 2-3 fit her quite well.. I stil haven't managed tof ind 1-2 knickers yet
You could try Monkey Bar Knicker too - they're shortie-style, so hard to get gaping leg from. Only issue might be the waist, but worth a shot. Big W has them for sure. They're the only ones that didn't ride up on DD.
my Dd wears teh rio ones and teh monkey bum ones they are teh boy leg ones, she is tiny, a size 0-1 fit her perfect over her bum in normal clothes and these fit her well.
the boy leg ones fit the best.
we get them from big w.
but yes why dont they make a 1-2 size undie???
my DD is almost TT and im just happy i found 1 style that fits her well enough
I found some!!!! Pumpkin Patch has size 1-2 years in knickers, so I got some - 4 for $11.95 Juliette loves them & managed her first whole day in them just fine yesterday (except for one accident in the afternoon). She walks around all day say "knickers, knickers" and flashing them
Em has no bum (never has had one) and still wears some size 0 bottoms. I spoke to a friend about it (a couple of her kids were the same) and she suggested buying Jocks. So Em being a major Thomas fan now has size 2-3 Thomas jocks that fit perfectly. Boys styles seem to fit better on small bottomed girls.
