    Swim Nappies (Cloth)

Jesse will be starting swimming lessons soon and my sister suggested getting a cloth/reusable swim nappy as it just ends up costing too much with the disposables.

Just curious who has them and what brand is the best to get?

Ive seen them at Big W and Target, they just look like speedos.. if bub's is to do a number 2 in those, will it leak out the legs? Last thing i want is a brown trail behind us in the pool!

    TIA

I was using the Little swimmers for Tehya, and even the swim teacher was telling me to reuse them. You can dry them out and use them again. Obviously not if there are no 2's in there

Alot of the MCN sites have swim nappies on them too. Perhaps you can have a look at some of them.

Monkey Doodlez have them. When our stock arrived for the shop i tried them on Chelsea, bot only in the bath tub...and no #2's were done though... so not sure how well they work on that front!

I re-use the little swimmers too if they are have no number 2's in them. Nina has been swimming for 6 months, and I've only bought one pack of them.

I bought a swim nappy, but it seems to be more like a little wet suit material nappy cover, and they even suggest using a swim nappy inside. I also picked up some flushable nappy liners, maybe that's another possibility. So I don't think it's much of a nappy cover but you know for sure there will be no leakage. I got it through darlings down under.

of course, if you have a little one, if you hold them knees to chest, back against your chest over a potty, straight after a feed - htey will usually be stimulated to poo (and even pee.) You can do this before your swim so there's less chance of a trail! (it's very good for them too.)
