We've been TTing DD (2yo) since early Feb and it's been going really well. Although I think she is a little on the young side, she had shown many signs of being ready, including asking me to take her to the toilet one day when we were swimming (I figured if she wouldn't wee in a pool, she was probably ready to TT )
Anyway, as I said, wees have been going really well. She has the odd little accident, but usually not even enough to make a puddle on the floor, and I rarely need to change her pants, maybe only her undies. BUT, poos is a different story. She doesn't go as often as she used to, but when she does it's always either in her undies (usually in the morning while she's playing happily at home, which was always her favourite time to go), or in her room when I put her down for her afternoon 'rest' (during which time she has a nappy on, just in case).
She knows she's supposed to poo in the potty or toilet, and she has done so in the past (not for a while though). The only thing I can think is that she just doesn't realise it's happening. The last 2 times it's happened in her undies my DS has come to me to say he can smell poos - she hasn't even told me.
Any ideas? We haven't tried any sort of reward system as I feel maybe she is a little too young to understand about stickers on a chart, etc, but I am certainly open to the suggestion.
