As the title says, has anyone used the shells of their pocket nappies to try and TT? I am on day one and am already out of undies :s

Yep although I prefer AIO shells that have a tiny bit of padding. The shells will stop puddles but it will wick throough pretty quickly. Also if you do the snaps up first they can still step into them like undies.

Okay, just did a trial and see the wicking, tomorrow is day 2 and we have a birthday party to go to and I don't want to confuse him by doing nappies, would it confuse him too much? Or any other suggestions?

I am not a TT expert, in fact we have been trying consistently for about 3wks now and we still have accidents but when we are going out I still put ari in cloth nappies - I try and use ones without a stay dry liner - so just cotton. Put her on the potty before we go and as soon as we get where we are going. Ask her the same as if she was wearing undies at home. If we miss it then I change the nappy talk to her about being wet/did she know she did a wee etc and off we go again. I really don't see the difference in using cloth nappies compared to cloth trainers. The only problem I have with them is that I want her to put them on and off like undies which is why I like the ones that I can snap up first and just get her to step into them. Hope that is of some help and good luck
