    Well, we are in undies.....

Today is THE day. We are in our first pair of undies. He wasn't very co-operative and I was thinking argh, he's not in the right mood for this.. but he laughed when we said goodbye to his nappy and I sat him on the toilet and kept cheering about wearing big boy undies just like daddy's. Anyway I think he's quietly chuffed that he's wearing undies.

Now it's up to me to remind him, and remind myself to take him to the toilet! LOL.

The weather should be quite nice today so I think we'll do a lot of playing outside and using the laundry toilet! hehe.

Good luck! Nina has been in undies for a couple of weeks now, only having accidents every now and then.

    Thanks!

Well, we had breakfast, and we just did a wee on the loo. At my prompting, but still.. and he was very proud of himself, taking his own undies off and climbing up the step.

Well, learnt the hard way that my boy is a frequent wee-er! LOL. Only one accident so far. But now I'm taking him to the loo every 1/2 hr JIC!

OMG I'm ready to give up already. I already have a cushion of the lounge drying out in the sun He seems to be doing massive wees about 15-20mins apart! How is that physically possible??? and then when I sit him on the toilet.. he does some more!! argh!

ETA: What the??!!! I give up. that was less than 5 minutes.. and another MASSIVE wee all over the floor in his room.

    Is this normal????????

Yep this is normal They go when they *have* to, just a little bit and then because they haven't properly emptied their bladder they end up having accidents. This is seth too. We're doing a hard core week of training this week in hopes he can get it. Its just so not as easy as it was with paris but I guess if I need to pay for carpet cleaning next week and he's in undies so be it!

I think Tallon is doing REALLY great You should be very proud

Well, I've caved and he's back in a pullup LOL. But he's also asleep right now. I took him to the loo before bed, and will take him again when he wakes. I was almost in tears with frustration with such frequent wees. I still don't know how he can physically make that much wee in such a short time frame! So just for my sanity today I'm keeping him in the pullups and still going to take him to the loo frequently. I'm just worried I'll start punishing him for weeing on the floor & furniture.. so I'm just going to make today all about just going to the loo.. hopefully within a few days he'll cotton on and start asking to go to the loo.

    *sigh*

Oh and re the carpet cleaning.. we were just talking the other week about getting our carpets cleaned.. so we're waiting til he's trained too. LOL. Might have to get the furniture done too.

Paris didn't really ask, I had to watch her like a hawk for about 2 weeks. She used to cross her legs and do a jiggle.

Seth's done a wee on the potty *YAY* and no accidents yet *touch wood*

I'll be getting cheapy pull ups from the nappy warehouse, so if we have to go out we'll use them. This worked with Paris but at home we didn't use them. I tell you though having a 6 yr old follow him around is good too LOL! As she knows if he needs to go. Try not to stress too much over the accidents. And if you have a pull up day it won't hurt I promise! it can be frustrating... why do you think I waited till the second week of school holidays when I knew we didn't have to go anywhere

    yay Seth!

Yeah, it's 1st week of holidays here, so no music or swimming, can stay home more. I'm still stunned at the frequency and the quantity LOL. So today is a pullup day. Will try again tomorrow if I can handle it! LOL. There's definitely no way we could go out without a nappy on! So we are definitely housebound.

i think I'll just be happy to catch the poo today.. his poos have been foul lately and I'm fed up with him hiding behind curtains to go. LOL. So hopefully with me more on the ball with the whole thing we'll at least have no more pooey nappies.

You'll have a few days where you just can't be bothered with it all, and they'll be back in nappies. Or they'll go backwards (just when you think they're getting the hang of it all too). It sucks having to do it all, but it's how it's gotta be.
I started tt Nina only a month ago, and now she goes without even telling/asking me. She just sits on the toilet, does a wee or poo, wipes and flushes. Then off to continue playing!
We went out this morning for a few hours, and Nina had undies on the whole, and no accidents. That was the first outing with undies. Now she's having her first sleep with undies on. Fingers crossed no accidents happen in her bed.
