I actually do re-use the pull-ups a few times. I guess you're right, i just have to go for it. Tonight we will go pull-up free and see what happens!

Today he made me so proud. We were out for brunch for mothers day and mid bite he hops off his chair and says "I'll be right back I'm going to the potty" and he ran off towards the washrooms (stopping at a nearby table to announce his intentions to them as well LOL).

I'm in the same situation except DS is 3!

He is dry all day having the odd accident but he always wakes up wet in the mornings even though we take him to the toilet before putting his nappy on for bed!

Will keep an eye out on this thread for more tips and hints!

Well we went for it last night and so far so good. Let's hope this continues and I don't have to do too much laundry!

Glad he's doing so well! I stopped DS's nappies over night, as he was dry every night, but as soon as the weather started to cool off he had to go back in them again.
I might try again after winter, we'll see how we go.

Your little guy is still so little, that's pretty good. Hope it goes better after winter. It's summer here so a bit easier for us.

Just subscribing to this thread as I would like to stop DD's overnight nappies too, but she is almost always wet!!!. She has been TT during the day for more than 6 months. We limit liquids after 5pm, toilet before bath, then again before bed and she wets her nappy each night. Not just small wee's either! The past 2 nights she has regressed and has left number 2's in there too. Pullups are just so expensive but I have bought some to encourage (hehe - bribe) her into thinking about her toileting overnight as well. So far it hasn't worked.

I have a feeling that it's not going to be easy as she is such a deep sleeper. Lucky me.....
