    Pocket nappy prewash...

I know that with an AIO you have to prewash a few times to get it to be more absorbent, but what about the pocket nappies? Do you only need to do the shell once and the inserts a few times? Or do the whole lot a few times?

Thanks in advance from a cloth newbie.

Sorry Marlene, I didn't see this last night.

Just once for the shells to remove any manufacturing residue.

A couple of times for the inserts, or just don't use them as long, so you save water, and you still get to use them

I am rudely sabotaging this thread sorry.
Great to know on the AIO's cause I just got my trials today and the CT's say nothing about pre-washing so am just going to do once.
Would that apply to fitted's as well then? Because the BB's say to wash 5 Times !!!! before using. Is that washing AND drying, because I SO don't see that happenning. My DD is only a light wetter except for specific times which I know are like clockwork, so can I just put the BB's on her for an hour or so at least before suseqent washes??

    Hi Sas,

I don't hardly ever do more than one pre-wash, just cos I wanna use them if I get new ones (although that is pretty rare these days )

I just use them after one wash, but either change them earlier than you normally would, or don't be surprised if they leak a little
