I only use peapods and the few second hand ones I have needed the elastic fixed in the top... Fionajill did it for me cause I have no idea. She may be able to help you with some answers.
Is there a quick-fix for replacing elastic in BBH and Fuzzibunz? oh - also in totsbots nappies too. The elastic is completely gone in my Bummis wraps tooI recently bought some new covers (which i'm not entirely happy with) but at least we're not cover-less.
Help!
It's not until I dug out the small nappies out of storage and saw all the lovely elasitised legs LOL that I realised how bad the big ones had got! Obviously I'd rather not buy too many new nappies, as the whole reason we went cloth was to save $$ so if I can fix these I'd be ever so happy!
Any ideas? detailed instructions? LOL. Does the elastic need to be sewn in properly, or can it just be threaded through and attached at the ends? Will it gather properly if I just do this with some of them?
TIA!!
Are there any sewers near me who want to earn a bit of $? heheh.

Liz I have seen a tutorial somewhere...will try to to dig up for you.
ooh.. thank you!
Liz, its pretty simple.
Do you have a sewing machine & a overlocker?
You need to unpick the stitching then unpick your dead elastic, making sure to mark where it was was. Place your new elastic on with the sewing machine then close it all back up with the overlocker.
I would be more then happy to do this for you if you want to send them my way.
eta - I don't want to paid to do it. Just cover your postage costs.
