    Unhappy Unshrinking Woolies - HELP

    While my parents were up they did heaps of washing for me, only thing is that the woolies went in the machine and then ON THE LINE IN FULL SUN and have shunk. How do I unshrink them? some of them look like they might be felted too but I am not sure. Help Please!!!

    Would it help if you rewashed them, and then hung them on the line (at night) so the weight of the wet wool stretched them out again?

    They have shrunk both width and lengthwise.

    There is stuff called Fullers Earth that may help. I haven't used it but I remember Gigi posting some stuff about it.

    Thanks Sam!! I have just googled it and will head to bunnings after Em wakes up, if they don't have it the health food shop should.

    good luck. I have tried everything All it ended up with was even MORE felted woolies.

    Ali - if you can wait until tomorrow morning, I'll post the methodology of unfelting from my "spotless" book - it is fullers' earth, but there's a special way of doing it.
