But it just clicked that for newborns you can use a bi or trifold in the middle of a PUL cover as a nappy?

Did anyone do this with their newborns?
Did it stay in place ok (ir not having it wrap around with snappies/pins)

If this is a way to do it (as i really suck at folding flats...) i might make up a few rectangles or bi folds to use for #2

I have leftover microfibre - would you suggest hemp or bamboo for the bifolds for newborns (with newborn poos etc)....

How would you suggest to sew them?
