P if you use shannons pattern & do the enclosed elastic you should be fine with the one set, what size do you have?

Also, I have often forgot to change needles from the ribbing to the body & it hasn't made a big difference to me.

Im do my first enclosed elastic waistband now, onto the 5th row of it, its not that hard to follow. Give it a try.
