    Sewing bamboo fleece

    Hi
Now that i've 'perfected' my nappies i want to start putting some decent materials in them. I'm a relative newcomer to sewing though, so looking for some advice. I'd like to put some bamboo fleece or terry (not sure which) inside my nappies so they're a bit more functional (or maybe microfibre too...). Is this fabric easy to sew with? Don't want to splash out on good stuff and then find I need an overlocker or something like that - i've just got a basic machine and a tiny bit of a clue...
    Thanks for your help,

    HI there
I am sewing my bamboo/microfibre boosters (trifold) tomorrow.
I have a normal sewing machine (not overlocker) and was advised to use a denim needle due to thickeness etc.
So hopefully that will do the trick and not snap on me!

yep. get the heavy duty needle if you're using the fleece. I've sewn with the bamboo with and without an overlocker. If you're turning and topstitching then you'll have no worries. It is much thicker though.
