Maybe take her to the gp & see what he recommends. Maybe get a referral to a pead?
I don't knwo much about osteo's, but maybe there is a medical problem.
When MJ was a couple of weeks old, they noticed that her cleft was not straight, also that her little fat rolls on her legs and her bum cheeks were not symmetrical...
She saw a Pead and he checked her hips and said that they were fine
Lately we have noticed:
* she holds her left leg differently and her feet do not turn out the same way as each other.
*When i pull her legs down straight, one is longer than the other.
* she taking weight, she tends to drag her left leg....
Im after advice and suggestions.
I live in Clayton if anyone has any recommendations
Thanks

I think a paediatric osteo or chiro may be able to help. I don't know of any osteo's, but I take my DS to an excellent paediatric chiro in Ringwood who is also based in Ivanhoe. Let me know if you want any more details.
You should be able to find an osteo who specialises in babies through the Australian Osteopathic Association website osteopathic.com.au. You could always use the Contact Us link to call them and enquire.
Thanks Trish, will check out the web site
Clare Gordon in the BellyBelly Pregnancy Centre specialises in babies and has done cranio sacral work also which is very good in pregnancy and for babies. https://www.bellybelly.com.au/pregnancy-centre

Hey Sammiejane - I would also recommend seeing an Osteopath who does Cranio-Sacral Therapy. I had a lovely little patient with the same troubles - esp the dragging of her left foot. She saw paediatricians and GP's, had x-rays and so forth, but they found nothing abnormal. I then referred her to a Craniosacral Osteopath, and she found a great deal of tension and muscle tightness in one side of the body. After a few weeks of treatment and some easy & fun exercises to do at home, this little girl finally began weight-bearing on her left foot, and began walking shortly afterwards. So, I think that may be a really worthwhile option for your little Molly.

Hi Sammiejane,
I would be happy to see your little girl and see what I can do to help the problem. There can be many reasons why she is the way she is, but also many ways to treat it too. I treat a lot of babies and infants and this is not an abnormal situation.
Please feel free to book her in with me at any time and I look forward to meeting you both then.
