Question What can you suggest for improving memory?

Can anyone suggest anything, hopefully homeopathic that i can take to improve my memory?

Due to medical treatment i have substantial memory loss of everything within the past year, and i have trouble retaining any new memories of everything within the past month. (the period in which i was having treatment). On a day to day basis i have to write everything down as i will not remember.

My Dr (a specialist) says it will improve in time, but it is actually much worse than he indicated it would be before i chose to have the treatment.

I think i once had a friend who worked with dementia patients and said they took something natural to help with memory, but obviously i can't remember what LOL

    TIA Muchly,
    Tan x

yep fish oils. may be worth talking to someone about what mix you need b/n EPA and DHA
You can take supplements and should also eat salmon, tuna, avocado.

I'm already taking 3 fish oil capsules per day! have been for about 6 months (its supposed to be helpful for PND, its unfortunately not helping my memory though!)

If you want something homeopathic or natural I'd suggest going to see a naturopath. There would literally be a million things you could probably take!

I think you need to take more than 3, more like 6 to have any real benefit for memory.

When I was in Year 12, Mum bought me herbal tablets, I think they were called MEM AID or MEM AD. They really did help me in retaining things I had learned.

I would love to see a naturopath but i really can't afford to just yet, we are having lots of the big bills come in now from my hospitalisation, stuff that the private insurance didn't cover (like radiology, scans etc).

Perhaps i'll just ask at my local health food shop tho...

    Thanks for the advice
